Your answers stay with you.

The reading guide and running-cost calculator work entirely in your browser. Nothing you choose or type is sent to us or saved.

No account, no tracking

There’s no sign-up, newsletter, analytics or advertising on this site.

Ordinary website requests

Our hosting service receives normal page requests, as every website does. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font files from Google.

If you email us

We see your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply or fix the site. We don’t add you to any list.

Links to other websites

Source links take you to other organisations’ websites, where their own privacy practices apply.

If we ever add analytics or advertising, this page will be updated before they go live.
